About WCNOSM

This project aimed to enhance the technical skills of campus network professionals in developing countries by conducting a five-day blended workshop on campus network operation and security management.

It addressed real-world challenges faced by university IT staff and promoted best practices in network management and cybersecurity. Participants from Bangladesh and other TEIN partner countries benefited through hands-on training, collaborative forums, and industry-led sessions.

Our Mission

To build the operational and cybersecurity capacities of NREN and university network engineers to ensure secure and sustainable campus network environments across TEIN partner countries.

Blended Training Workshop

Five-day intensive workshop in Barishal, Bangladesh with 73 participants covering comprehensive network operations and security modules.

Hands-on configuration of FortiGate firewalls, JunOS, VLANs, routing (OSPF, BGP), wireless authentication, and monitoring tools.
